First UWB-Enabled Product to Be Introduced in the Chinese Market

Freescale and Haier have announced the successful development of a UWB (Ultra WideBand)-enabled LCD television in the United States. They plan to start selling the television in China in the fourth quarter of 2005, meaning the start of commercial use of UWB technology in that country.
